Below is a log of main updates to license activation server

License Activation Manager (LAS) – v2.9.0.0

Admin section

Show only programs that doesn’t use token licensing in Add orders page in admin section
Added token licensing management
Dynamic serials now includes the ability to generate token serials
Admin can allow registration or turn it off
Admin can allow license removal for only users with maintenance plan or for all users or alternatively turn off license removal
Admin can allow license activation or turn it off
Admin can allow license status display or turn it off

Client Section

New license portal for token licensing products, those products don’t require user registration
Users can Check license Status
Users can Activate licenses and generate a compatible license zip file to import during software licensing
Users can remove license by uploading the removal request file generated from software license removal.

Bug fix in the Admin section under Clients > View orders button > View licenses button

Added support for Token web license identification type

License action display enhancement – Administration area

Added more themes to administration section
License update enhancement:
— added the setting “EnableSmartLicenseUpdate” to appsettings.json file, when turned on it will allow client to change Computer ID
under certain rules configured. It will check if the client is updating the license on the same computer before allowing the client
to generate a license.
— Administrator can now check Computer ID changes and display detailed Hardware ID changes if updating a license in administration panel.

Added dynamic serial generation feature. Serials don’t need to be generated and stored in database for users to add an order to the activation center. We also kept the existing setup serial generation that stores serials to database.
